I've been a longtime lurker on the Kaw triples worldwide board; thought I'd post my new project on the Canada board. I picked up this bike last month .I was actually looking for a 72 S2 to go with my mostly stock 72 H2 but came across this one and had to have it. The bike has been sitting in boxes (every nut and bolt was off it) since 1995 and I've started re-assembling it/mocking it up to get an idea what it will look like. I don't know what to do about the chrome 74 tank ; thinking about painting the lower half 73 H2A purple up to a 72 style H2 decal with custom (red/orange) H2A colors in the decal. Derek

Hi Lou, Yes I did purchase the bike from Steve and the pipes are factory pipe products. Nice gauges Zambia!! Are those repro decals faces ?
Thanks for the welcome to the board! I'll probably be on here more often looking for help in feeding my Kawasaki habit.

I love that tank...I do have a 74 H2 tank to trade if you ever want to get rid of the chrome one.... It would look cool on the race bike.

Nice gauges Zambia!! Are those repro decals faces ? The gauges have the original faces. They were dirty, cloudy and faded - but I cleaned them with fantastic, and put a thin coat of fluorescent red paint over the needles and "red zone". Got nice new rubbers from Andy Hemi426 on the board here.

It is pretty neat to see some of the bikes I have sold coming together and posted on the website, TRIPLES LIVE! Yes! I will be sending in photos of my first ride in 23 years, my 77KH400 which I just repainted in the original 78 Candy Lime Green scheme. Very pleased with the finish. Derek, keep me posted on the H-2. I have a line on another 5 so am hoping to get on board another soon, Steve C
