Oh... and just for the record, the new camera mount is for the KayZed not the Mongrel. The Mongrel has clip-ons!! "Now, back to your regularly scheduled Thread!" (sorry for the thread-jack!) That's great! You'll get lots of footage of me riding... as you'll be riding back with the diesels ;D ;D ;D Sorry Trevor, I'll behave now too That's a cool Suzuki tank, what is it from?

Wow... that's going to be an awesome build Trev... I'm drooling already!! ;D ;D You said you're not using the 600 parts... you don't happen to have the dogbone arms that go from the bottom of the shock to the swingarm?? I had found a set online and bought them only to have the guy cancel as he couldn't find them Need those for the Friggin A and really don't want to make them unless I absolutely have to.

so i got my new parts last weekend. swingarm, wheels and forks from a 88/89 1000 fzr. starting on fitting on the swingarm first. i have to mill 9/16 off of each side then machine down into the tube 9/16 to fit the bearing and then cut 1 1/8 out of the centre of the swingarm bolt and tig it back together. i might have to machine down the dust caps to fit on to. how important do you think those dust caps are? i know it will prolong bearing life but do you think i really need them?

swingarms done. the next hurdle was getting the fzr triple clamps to fit on the h2. the spindle off the h2 was a bit smaller than the fzr so it couldnt be put into the fzr bottom clamp so we figured the best way to do it would be to cut the tops off of each spindle and put the h2 top on the fz bottom. we just made a stepped pin with same diameters as the inside of the spindles and pressed it in. all done, with new bearings.

Was that tank almost a direct bolt on, or what kind of mods did you have to make?
I really like the tank on it, it looks wider up front, hold more fuel?
