It works pretty good actualy, the clip ons and seat put you into an almost tucked position anyway, so the fairing directs the wind over you pretty good.

It's probably worth a few mph on the topend. I've been thinking about doing the same... Maybe I'll make it so it can be swapped out quickly with a standard bucket but I like the idea of having one attached to the frame... I have an old style 1/4 fairing, I think I'm going to see if it can be modded to work.

Check out Givi windshields. They have a lot of styles of small almost like 1/4 fairings but smaller that mount to the headlight bucket in many different shapes and styles and they work really good. they come in clear, tint and smoked I believe. I had one on my T500 before I installed the full fairing and it worked and looked realy well.

Well I just replaced my stock orginal H1 clutch springs with new Vesrah SK-401 springs. I'd post a pic but even with my window in my clutch cover, what would be the point , next, waiting for my clutch master cylinder to arrive from the UK and then swap out the orginal cable and ball release with my new hudrolic unit

What's the deal with the SK-401 springs Fred?

A tip from lc to add some more spring pressure to the plates and thus help squeeze the plates together tighter. When he was down here and he followed me on a ride to the shop from my place, he noticed that my clutch hada a slight slip to it and asked what springs I was using, (stock, orginal H1 springs which came with the motor when I purchased it), he suggested to try the SK-401 springs from Vesrah, a little stronger with just a slight increase in lever pressure
