Battery will be under the bum stop of the new seat, I had built an oio tank, but now I am up in the air about using it or just running pre mix, i love the look of the open triangle.

First things first, getting the seat mounted. I had a few options to consider with the seat, I could widen it to sit on the frame nice, or I could modify the rear Of the frame, bringing it in slightly narrower and making it more flat like to help support the new battery and electronics. So I decided to modify the frame, this part is ugly as hell, so it will got lopped off at the tape on each side, and then a slug inserted into frame so I can add my new frame rails. I will also be cutting part of the rear mudflap, only at the very top just to make it level with the frame and the seat can sit properly. The back of the seat has a lip that will cover the back of the frame raisl, it is there, that the end of each frame rail will be filled, drilled and tapped, to hold the back of the seat in place, the frot of the seat will have a 1/4 inch bolt epoxyd threw it (foam and cover will hide it) and then a wingnut will tighten the front down, and a cotter pin will stop the wingnut from backing off. If you excuse me, i got work to do :-) Attachments:

The fairing and solo seat got the first coat of clear, scuffed down and off to the decal shop for the stripes. Wish i took some better pictures before i dropped them off. Looks like (hopefully) I will be picking up my new front forks from Drewski on Sunday. I just dumped 35 bucks worth of stainless bolts for the manifolds, clutch cover, mag cover and various other tid bits. The bike is heading to the shop in the next 2 weeks for the pipes to be finished (finally!!) then stripped down to paint the frame and keep polishing. Rims and hubs will be sent to Repro decals in about 2 weeks also to have new spokes installed and some tires installed. Now, I get to go sink another 50 bucks into solder, shrink tube and some new wires Attachments:
