Got the rear brake caliper, master, and line won on ebay.
Looking at the front now,
I want to continue with the dual disk up front, but want to upgrade to a newer style caliper, what all do you recomend? EX 500 seems to only be a single disk...

Looks great Curtis! Pipes look stellar. Are you putting your brake calipers in front of the forks? And don't forget to turn your horn. It tucks away nicely when it's pointing upwards.

Anty
No, I am not, I realized they were spun after I had the wheel on to roll it around, I will change it when i pull the forks off to paint the frame :S
And You wont see the horn when its finished, it will be hiding.

I got a ZX600R caliper, which is the same as the EX caliper, but it came in dual disk. I've ridden an H1 with a single EX caliper and master cylinder, and I would not want the dual version. I had to use one finger on the single to avoid skidding the front wheel. I don't have a 1/2-finger to use on a dual setup.

Project has gone a totally other way, and now the bike has to be done in under 7 months ! The wife wants it finished for the wedding to get pictures done with it Here are the last photos of it before the latest rendition happens, which is hopefully going to happen fast! New parts going on are as follows: Powder coated rims with matching hubs, new spokes Stock H1 forks White headlight shell with matching green ring H1R race tail section and seat(on the way from ebay) 60's era mini tail light Chrome mini gauges Rear sets Velocity Stacks Finish the frame, frame will still be white, swing arm will be black, frame will have the open triangle under the seat, battery will be under the bum stop on new seat. Hope you like,

I would just find some stock calipers that fit the forks. The wheel is bigger and the discs are smaller. They will work fine with steel lines, if you want duals. And do turn the forks around, with the axle in the back you will have a very slow steering scoot.

John, I think you mis understoon what I said. The kz front end is not staying on, I have a complete h1 front end for it that I am rebuilding right now, and I am lacing up some stock h1 wheels for it as well. The brakes will stay stock as thats what I have on the shelf.
Sorry for the confusion,

Curtis...it looks good, and I like your plan. That said, 7 months is too much time. Bring it down to 5 months and we'll see it in Paris. Looks like you've got a warm, dry place to work -- not like my I disagree-freezing garage floor!
