Most of you who have followed the threads (begging for help) with my H2C will know that when I started riding the bike last year, it ran well - but it was always rich and I had a lot of four stroking. Starting in April, I began "leaning" out the Lectrons and tinkering with pre-mix ratios and air filters. Last month, it suddenly went south and started missing real bad at RPM. Anyhow, I finally traced that (after having the carbs off 20 times) to a loose stator due to a rusted/busted, and 2 loose screws. The pick ups had seen a little rotor contact, so I got another stator off flea bay (turned out to be no better). After disassembling, cleaning and adjusting the stator, I started to really fiddle with timing. I thought I had it all figured out, so I went for a rip yesterday. It was hard to start (6 or 7 kicks) and it idled at 3,000 - a sign of being too lean, but I took it out anyway. Well holy triple smokes - this thing tears it up now! I've got torque down low (kept spinning the tire) and I've got the 6 grand power band. This is like a new bike! Sorry for the long post, but I thought I would pass it along. ian
