Can hardly believe it, broke an oil banjo in the case today.... HELP... who's got one, I can't run this new toy again till I have one. Actually I wouldn't mind buying a new set of 3 with washers if anyone has them.

way to go Bake. Another one saved from the scrapper ! Lucky the banjo already has a hole in it for an EZout eh, never heard of that before? I have used copper crush washers for the banjos before, ones for auto brakes.

Can just imagine hauling the engine out to have to drill the banjo, lucky is right.... the ezout pulled it like nothing. Sucks having it up and running and not being able to flash it up for the fine tuning till I get another bolt for the engine. Good tip on the washers, never thought of that.

A ton of details to go over and double check everything, never liked the rear master reservoir so I am going to try this out, will probably shorten it to 1/2 it's length you see here. And a set of bar end mirrors

I was just reading over my first posts and noticed this post by Givr, I took his advice and bought a new receiver thinking mine was missing (I misread his post) but on assembly noticed I had the old one and went on my merry way.... till now I just looked at the package with the new receiver and sure as shooting there's that tube givr was talking about, so now I get to take off the clutch side and see if the nub is indeed stuck in the output shaft. This may help explain something that been nagging me.... I only have about 10 minutes total run time on the bike but at idle I was hearing a growley bearing and assumed it was a crank bearing so I was bleeding my oil pump and broke a banjo bolt that I am now waiting for..... but possibly the growley bearing is a tranny bearing because of the oil reciever? Think I did any damage with 10 minutes run time lads? Sheesh Meanwhile I have dotted all the i's and crossed the t's and just have the banjo bolt hurdle and the oil reciecer to go and I get my first ride. I see the previous owner didn't take out the oil receiver for the transmission before splitting the cases, you'll going to need a replacement for that one. It's on the far right, (between your speedo and the gear shifter), there should be a small tube sticking out that goes into the output shaft of the transmission. Perhaps the little piece is still in the output shaft.

Ten minutes idle run under no load probably isn't going to hurt anything there Bake. Trying pulling the clutch in and out while it's running and see if the sound changes. Could be a loose clutch basket.

you felt the bearings on the crank? those clutches are garbage and don't stand up long at all. Probably lasted longer when the rubber isolators were new and not all hard and shrunk, you'll get used to that sound... it's the other ones that'll worry you. Is there a barnett set up made? I'm running low on tight baskets?
