Yup . I am the original owner from way back in 1975 . Drove it for 2 summers or more before it siezed . Got a wrecked second bike for 150 bucks and switched the motors . Anyway I never saw oil off the bottom of the case but there is a lot of it on top of the engine block behind the cylinders . No other washers where missing on the oil supply lines . And yes I am sure the warranty is no longer valid LOL !!!!!! Just wondering if this may have been the culprit to the seizer . Mike

The guys will not believe it when I say there is air in the left oil line (Tweed joke) but it sure looks like it to me. Get some stato seals from Andre for the rebuild, for a couple reasons... The aluminum crush washers are only good for one time where the stato seals are reusable also, the stato seals require less torque to seal up so there is less of a chance to strip the threads on your oil pump. Givr, hard to believe you are suspect the bike was leaking oil?...lol Unless Rocket lives up in the tar sands, I'd say it was the culprit of the seizure

Walms you maybe right or it is a discolour of the line when the flash went off BUT it looks like an air bubble though .

Looking at the first photo, it looks like only one crush washer is in place next to the pump... I can see one washer clearly sitting next to the tach input... In the 2nd photo, I can see the 2nd one covered in spooge, I think.

Givr, hard to believe you are suspect the bike was leaking oil?...lol All I'm saying is when my over used crush washers gave up the goat, oil would drip out the small indentation at the bottom of the oil pump cover, I noticed it, and got the rubber ones.

Wow... great timing...I was just going to ask what people had tried for cracked air intakes as I have the same problem... thank you! I'm assuming I have to get this stuff from an actual shoe repair shop or? Thanks again. North
