Hi! I'm working on a 72 H1 and I'd like to share my project as I go. I'm not sure how to post photos so I'll share one as an experiment.
Please let me know if it works
This is what I started with plus a box full of very greasy and ugly bits.

That front wheel isn't from an H1B.

Good eye. It's actually from a KH500, as are forks and front hub.

Actually the drum brake and wheel are from the rear. The Hub to the right of it is the front.

Now that I have this Image posting thing figured out, here is a few more. Frame after pressure watch.
Fabricated swing arm pivot.
Billet Clip Ons
Billet Triple Clamp
Race Tech Springs and adapters for Gold Valves. The valves are clones intended for Yamaha XS650
Front End Assembled

Shop built tool to pull piston pins
Cases after Vapor Blasting
Tranny assembled with new bearings seals and shift forks
Dave Singleton rebuilt crank. Nice
Bottom end buttoned up.
The studs on the right cylinder were badly corroded, I had to wait to get replacements so I went ahead and assembled the bottom and YEP the last stud to come out broke, leading to this.
Drilling it out.
That pretty much gets me up to date. I'll post more as I get more done.

My bad .... should have looked closer! I initially thought maybe you had an H1C but it is indeed an H1B.

I now have a full set of cylinders and heads with all their fins. Welding by Robby Mchenry Metalsmithing.
While waiting for parts and paychecks I machined up some carb adapters.
