Looking forward to seeing the progress on this one!
Im sure someone will chime in but there's a KTC specific website for hosting images. Which seems to do the trick real well. I've been meaning to make the jump from photobucket myself.

Welcome to the board. Do you have a plan as to what you would like create? You can get into a lot of detail with a project like this. Is the s3 stock now? paulh has an s3 replica style racer.

Welcome to the board. Do you have a plan as to what you would like create? You can get into a lot of detail with a project like this. Is the s3 stock now? paulh has an s3 replica style racer. i do have a couple s3 motors ,the one I’m going to use is stock I was only planning on flipping the two out side jugs so the pipes are inboard. I plan on using parts from the 1980’s ,I have some leftover 89 zx7 forks and triple clamps and plan on using wheels from a 82 kz 1000 or a Ltd 1000 . I still haven’t decided on all the parts or colours but I have an image in my head and we will see how close I can get to it lol. Going to order some 1” x.095 dom and make a jig from my stock frame to keep the stock steering head position . I will take pics as I go any ideas are welcome

This is interesting. I have the same project started here !.. I also have a 89 zx7 and although they are amazing front ends just a bit heavy for an s3 I would think. Are you planning on using fairings? Or naked ?

The rear I am thinking of mono shock and a fat swing arm with as wide a tire I can make fit

Well I managed to sneak out in the garage for an hr , I don’t feel so bad anymore to cut this frame up ,the front foot pegs are all cracked where they weld to the frame , the gas tank mounting brackets have been removed to fit the Tracy body I’m stoked to get started all remorse is gone

No turning back now , frame is now prepared to make a jig from and I managed to find the time to turn some steering head Alignment jigs that will weld to my jig I think I have all the measurements from the photos I have downloaded I still have to make a tubing bender after the jig is finished ,if anything this is a nice change from home renovations and jet ski projects

You should check out some Colin Seeley frames - he did some great stuff back in the day (for Brit stuff) but it will certainly give you some more ideas

Managed to get the frame mounted to my engine stand in the jig , this way I can roll it 360* for welding it in the jig completely and letting it cool as not to warp it
