Welcome aboard. You'll fine lots of like-minded lunatics here. Looks like a reasonable project. I've seen worse turned into terrific machines. Where are you from? I'm in Mississauga, Ontario. We have members scattered all over Ontario, the rest of Canada, USA and other parts.

Hello there: yes, I´m from Buenos Aires, living part time in Chile. I found this venerable bike, waiting for her four years! One of the FSB owners ruined her with non original paint everywhere. FSB=F*cking Silly B*stard. Probably the only way to know which was the original color is removing the fuel tank and take a look underneath. Have you any idea where could it be the VIN code? Thanks a lot, Gabriel.

The vin # is stamped on the frame neck between the triple trees.At least it is on this side of the world.
