Hey boys, just wanted to give you all a sneak peek at the new paint job I've started for my S3 that papagriff is helping me with. Still not finished yet, I have to still tape up the body work to see what stripe I want. Don't worry, finished product pictures will be posted and I'll try to keep you all updated. Gerry

It looks very good. I like it when someone chooses a color because he likes it, rather than because it was offered by Kawasaki that year.

Off the top of my head I couldn't tell you the colour, I'd have to get back to you on that.
I also forgot to mention in my original post that this is spare tins that I painted, I still have the originals.

Thanks for sharing triplepoweredgpz, that's a fine looking Chevelle and definitely gives me some more ideas on how to finish this paint job.
And for decals III, I'm not too sure what I'm doing. There will be some though, probably just a simple Kawasaki decal on the side of the tank

A report on how it worked would be awesome. Thinking of maybe using one to coat my 400 frame after spraying semi flat black. Might look like original frames if I am lucky. Not going the powder coating route this time. Remember the "Kinks" song, "Low Budget" Dats me
