Thanks !! Yes this H2 project is special. It's the bike that got us back into two strokes. It is getting a lot of attention to details. This is the bike that is going to get the NOS exhaust we have. Will try and get you some pics along with pics of some of the other triples we are working on and the RZ 350.Thanks for your interest.

Been a busy winter.Brother Duane just about finished his RZ 350.WOW it looks great.I think it will give my H1 500 some competion performace wise too, he did some port work and got pipes and carbs for it.I just completed a rebuild on my H1E and got the engine in the frame.I didn't have the correct seal for the clutch actuator for the roller clutch release so we made a spacer and then put a 5/16 ball in between the roller clutch pusher and the rod like a 750 to take up the added space.Restored original Denco chambers they are on the bike now too.Duane rebuilt the crank for our H2 project and the lower cases are assembled now too.Get Walms to post a few pics. Will get some more pice up later.Especially of the RZ 350 it's pretty much completed now.

Fired up BOTH the H1 500 AND the RZ 350 this afternooon. Both running well.Nothing like the sound of fresh, tight, new engines !!Brother Duane did an amazing job rebuilding both cranks. The DENCOS on the H1 500 sound amazingly quiet with the thick cloth fiber glass baffle packing that we use.But still have that crisp tone.Years ago we found the Permatex Hi TEMP exhaust sealer that we originally used to seal up headers. It is not a rubbery silcone material. But a high temp "exhaust specific" sealer. It works great applied to the ends of the pipes before fitting them in the flanges and does not burn up and helps stop those nasty oily exhaust drips commonly found on head pipes on bikes with chambers.I was told that Permatex stopped making the stuff ? As quiet as the H1 500 with the DENCOS is, the RZ 350 is super quiet with the stock pipes. But chambers going on the RZ 350 soon too.Should be a fun summer riding the two bikes !! Glad they both fired up and ran well.

Thanks !! Going to do some more detailing and setting up on the bikes today.Once they are all set up etc.. we will consider doing a video/sound clip.Maybe get a couple of photos up first.Anxious to get the bikes tuned up and dialled in.Would like to head out to the Drag Strip with the H1 and the RD'S.Interested in doing some expansion chamber tests.I have a bunch of different chambers that I want to try and compare.Wheelie bar is presently set up for the RD'S.But could be readjusted for the 500.I am curious to compare the perf of the H1 and the RZ 350.Brother Duane did some port work on the RZ 350 and recently got chambers for it and some carbs. The RZ has 63 HP out of the box.So it should be an interesting comparison ?

Got the H1 500 up and running and broken in now.Re-checked the timing and jetting.Coloring the plugs pretty nicely now.Original DENCO pipes and stock carbs.Runs very strong and get to 115 MPH @ 7500 RPM in blink of an eye and still pulling, but I let off. Will see what it can do on the top end fully opened up soon.I am surprised it pulls and winds out as well as it does with the stock 26 MM carbs. You can tell it wants bigger carbs.Try that a bit later. Now that it is running well, I just want to drive it.EBC clutch springs working great.A lot easier to pull and no signs of slipping at all.RZ 350 is up and running well too.Still being broken in.As soon as it is broken in it will get a set of pipes and then some carbs. Will be interesting to compare the two bikes side by side !!

Thanks.Brother Duane is very good at doing all the paint work and deserves the credit for that.If you have a peek at the pictures of our bikes at the vintage bike show in Ormstown QC you can see the work he did on the RZ 350.I am still working on several 73 H1D projects.Yes the parts we got from you will help.Still need a battery side cover. We have few on going projects yet.
