We both have Veypors. It seems like the dyno feature should work really well with points ignition and a bike you can hold wide open without getting into significant wind losses.

That's great to hear! Have you tried yours yet? I haven't been successful with my 500 yet. Might try resistor plugs there... The inertia dyno would be an off season thing. Faster to braze up straight pipes too

I used the Veypor's dynamometer mode on my H2 successfully, but it took quite a bit of noise reduction to make it work, and even then it sometimes ends a run prematurely. But I can't imagine it would have any trouble on the little bikes without CDI. I'll have to carry a small 12V battery though, since the bike is only 6V. Either that or get a 6v ->12v converter from eBay cheaply. Maybe we talked about it already... the company that made Veypor appears to be out of business. So far I've used the speedometer on the DT for my testing. Top speed tells me what I need to know. I just got my Emgo quick throttle today, and it works great for an H2 carb. Now I need to clean the carb and get it installed on the DT100.

I wonder if the guy would sell a unit off line? I should lookup his email and try it.

That will be great looking. Finish it and you won't be sorry. You might even want it there at your next track day.
I went with the stock seat because I was afraid I might need to be farther back than one like the one you show will let you be. I do sit pretty far from the tank, too. It would be a good idea to ride it aggressively (knee dragging) with a stock seat before you settle on dimensions for your fancy one.

I just did a Google Images search for "kawasaki g3ss" to see what the stock seat looks like. Did you know your drawings are prominently featured?
