I would rather have had it as it came in it's "original glory" but it's a pretty nice example of an early h2. The tank decals look wonky though.

What a crock - that guy is heavily involved in triples, so I know that he knows better...just trying to hype up the price. It has merit as an early bike (I have one that was probably made the same day) but as Drewski said he has the decals way too angled and honestly the paint colour on the early bikes was quite a bit lighter. Still, the bike will probably hit $12K
As far as being a prototype...that's rubbish. Sure they made changes to the carbs and cylinders (porting/cut out)..and the plastic bucket, but that's just normal tweaking.

It doesn't run. have to assemble wiring under the seat?? I have a very rare black 72 H2. Not so low matching numbers. I will sell it with great reluctance for $125,000. very rare.
