I got an e-mail from a friend in Kingston late last night about an early H1 for sale. He said it was a '69 or '70 but couldn't tell. After a phone call discussion, I bought it based on the sellers description and just got pics this evening. It's rough has potential. The pictures show it is a'70 painted tremclad silver. I have a red '70 but always wanted a peacock grey one. It's a little rusty and crusty but I couldn't resist it for $250. Apparently the motor is not stuck. That's a start. I am eager to get it home. Replaced the pics with better pictures taken on the weekend. Looks a bit better than I thought. Yeah it looks bad but I did expect worse.Andre

It needs lotsa love. Fortunately, I have enough parts left over from my red '70 to build a nice 2nd bike out of this one. It's pretty ugly but I've built nice bikes out of worse. I really like the 69-70 models since they're the ones that started it all. Ian, A blue H1A is on my wish list too. Keep it under lock and key.
