Interesting thread about someone wanting to do a batch of 20 sets of adapters.Wondering if there is enough demand for 20 ? Hi, I am the one from kawi2strokes board that will be making the adapters. I am not sure how much demand there is for these but to keep them at reasonable price point I can't do them 1 or 2 sets at a time. I will be doing this project, I am just unsure how many sets I will run off or if this will be a one time affair or not. Time will tell how many more h1's I will have to buy for my self to use them all up. And for those interested, the drawing on the resource page is somewhat off.

"Somewhat off"
Yep. Could stand some improvement from what I've observed already. The top of the hole is too high on certain cylinders I've placed the adaptor on. I have to pick my best set or dremel some smoothing on the port for a good transition.

givr, fwiw I don't think that the factory tolerance on port placement was very tight from one batch to another. I have 5 h1 cylinders and all of them are a little off from each other, some worse than others. I have modified the numbers on the resource drawing to get the best overall center hole to port placement.
With that being said, this style of adapter will need some grinding/blending to match the ports. Actually any adapter will need some. This will be on the sides of the plates since the ports are rectangle/oval and possibly on the top and bottom of the cylinder if you want a perfect blend in. It would be very hard to(efficiently) produce these manually if you wanted a tapered hole that transitioned into the port shape. CNC would be a lot easier if you want to pay for the programming and machine time.

I sure like the looks / shape of these. A lot nicer looking than the square block effect ! ! ! Thats some nice handiwork there...

I did a few designs before coming up with this one. All edges are chamfered for a nice look. I did taper the intake 7 degrees taper and then completed the port match with a die grinder for a smooth transition.

I could've machined the blocks square like Denco but that was 40 years ago? Just wanted something pleasing to the eye that will work as good as the original Denco block,

Just wanted something pleasing to the eye that will work as good as the original Denco block, Screw that "correct" Denco look. Your adaptation (yes a pun) of the adapter is way better looking. 5 out of 50 triple people at a meet or similar event will know they are not "correct". The other 45 will think as I do. J M H f O

Center intake inlet of the adapter is best left for port matching. To shape and match to their individual cylinders.IE: Leaving enough material to work with.Square blocks could be considered "traditional".And the newer style for a more modern look.Always nice to have choices ? Is anyone going to make these available and at what cost ?
