I'd blend 35mm diameter on one end and match the cases on the other.

Is anyone out there making and selling those H1 carb adapter plates ? I have made my own before,and will again, but working on so many projects right now.It might save some TIME !!

Thanks Andrew. I had to machine the cylinder fins down to accommodate the adaptors. They look good and should work ok

Interesting thread about someone wanting to do a batch of 20 sets of adapters.Wondering if there is enough demand for 20 ?

I'd say yes because it's these adaptors would be the main reason why so many people still deal with the stock carbs... I dismantled 1 and that was enough to know I wasn't going to use them. Lol

Its a matter of what you're used to. I know stock 28s are a pain at the track. The phenolic inserts crack and leak air and can make it difficult to remove. But the "all original" folks gotta have em for correct look. Not everyone wants to port cylinders and run expansion chambers either. Ie. The h2dudes of the world! I never liked the idle control on the 28s. Mostly you just have to set them up right and leave them alone.

I sold 5 of those 28's for $20 last year... Zero regrets!
