I still may have to rework the lower fairing as the H1r center pipe runs right down the centre with only the stinger making the jog around the back wheel. The denco centre pipe has the built in silencer & takes up a little more room.More issues.Tired of my poor welding on the pipes I decided to turn my attention to the glass.(not tins)Spent my first ten years out of school as a bodyman so have a few friends with shops.Went to work on them & started looking for a close color.I had a 69 charger way back that was sublime green & thought it would be close. It was really a 70 color for Chrysler. Then I thought some more.Amx was the first with the Big Bad Green in 68.I reasoned Kawasaki did not make there own color so the must have stold it from American motors.I think the color is a match.

Brad I think that is the correct color. I saved an article somewhere that had the history of the a1r's and how they got the green. I will look for it later.
Bikes lookin good! Don't got a spare krober, do ya?
I had a chat via email with the same Frenchman. Nice fellow not so good English.
It's nice to see you've found some history in your bike. I have not been so lucky. No idea where the bike came from or whom the first rider was.
Did you have to do any repairs on your fuel tank before paint??

That was today. They all need to be sanded with 1000 wet,get some decals to put on & more clear.I got to get back to those ugly pipes before I can fit the fairing & paint it.Still lots of work to do before mosport, not sure if it will be race ready.

You're building that like a man possessed. I guess the vision of it has been in your head for a long while. She's looking great!
