In early 1972 Tony Nicosia set an AHRA world record on 1971 500cc H1: 12.26 @ 109mph.  I ran 11:98 on a modified H2 in 1978...best I could muster. Now ya got me thinking  , but I still have that time card I swear it was a low 12 but it was a looooong time ago But I'am a checking , don't to look like bs'er  I don't doubt you for a second Jack...just saying anything in the 12's is awesome for an H1 even with chambers and filters. RB ran a box stock H1F 2 summers ago, and set a new "world record" around 14 seconds.. ;D ;D ;D ;D |

Hey givr. Do you think we should plan the camp out Mosport weekend for this year? Daytime rides out on the roads then back to the track for cold beer, bbq and the camp fire. Triples Parking only!  Beer!  |

Always wondered about RB's "world record". What bikes exactly did the class include, or is RB the only entrant?? A really amazing run (especially for a non professional rider) was Tom V's (in the states) run of 12.65/122 on a '69 H1. As far as I know the bike was nearly completely stock.
