I gotta ask!! What happened to the NSR400 to make it into an organ donor?

Cool, looks like you have a winters worth of work cut out for yourself. Whats the hole on the steering neck for..... a steering lock?

Thanks for the feed back ;D The NSR400 parts came from Ontario from a guy that was parting out a second NSR400. The hole in the steering neck is for a steering lock but it is'nt going to be used and will be welded up after a while.

Very trick. I think it looks great. Are the rear sets from the ns400 also?

Yes they are from the NSR also but the pegs themselves are from a CBR1000 custom fitted to the brackets. The left side should be ready in about another 2 weeks or so

That's the guy. But he only sold me the NSR parts. The frame came from another guy in Yarmouth N.S.

Great work!! Looks like lots of thought and work have gone into this build already. It's going to be a very cool bike when done. Can't wait to see it finished!

Well it's been a while and progres is slow but here are a couple of more pics The fender and tire are there just for mock up and will not be used. I'll try and get a pic of the fairing and proper fender installed later.

Neat custom. Lots of fabrication work going on there! It will be interesting to see what it weighs with all the light weight modern parts its made with. J
