Just put your old rack/sissy bars back on. I'm going to. If you have one of those 5 ft bars, you could run a KTC flag off it. ;D
Years ago I was jealous of the CB750 hondas. They had an ajustable sissy bar you could adjust up for one rider. What a backsaver.

I'm with you Joker... About 500km in, it'll be much more about function then form I was thinking about loading up with a sleeping bag and pup tent for that very reason. It'll make a nice back rest, whether I end up in a hotel room or not.

The line up can get very long.. I was always early just to get a good spot in line PLUS to get my ticket .
We then go into the Hull and strap the bikes down with rope and strap them good!!!

The 2 times I went across on a bike, they just let pass the whole line up, because the tie-down hooks for motorcycles are in the bow. You get off first too, which is cool -- everyone gets to enjoy some smoke. The tie down straps are rough to say the least..anyone concerned about scratching their pride and joy, might want to bring a strap or two of their own. Just don't bring the POS Chinese Crappy Tire ones, or else Lou will ride you like a rented mule. ;D

Good to know about the bow section, I wonder how many tie down spots there are? I think a phone call might be in order.

Good to know about the bow section, I wonder how many tie down spots there are? I think a phone call might be in order. We had about 12 bikes, and there were extra spots left. I think there might be other places for bikes too (not sure). The "reservation" thing is a bit bogus -- we tried, but it seems nobody has reservations .. it's just a way for them to cover their but when you're whining that you couldn't get on the boat.
