I was going to say Paul, it might be in my best interest to get some dimensions from you and work it up in Solidworks. Having the same frame as you would give me some options for my bike. We could make them quick and dirty by changing the radius end corners into chamfers. Just thinking out loud. Sounds like a plan Walms !, Around December I will be pulling the bike inside and will have more time and maybe have access to a CMM.

I used Caswells' product on my Tracy about a year ago and a half ago. I guess I should put some gas in it and see if it works. I know it works beautifully on steel tanks. My KayZed tank has a Caswells liner that's been in there for 8 years.

Good stuff Paul, we'll get together and do this, you are only a hop and skip away! My thoughts with a lined fibreglass tank is the liner should be more of a bladder if the original glass is deteriorating. Wouldn't it continue after just coating? I have zero experience, just thinking out loud.

The Caswells is a 2 part epoxy that is intended to bond to the existing tank interior. They are one of the few that really seem to work as intended.

Check with the DOT guys, Some places require a steel or aluminum tank only. No plastic or fiber glass on the street. Just say'n.

It is here too in N.S. but if you know a guy who does MVI's or safeties, it'll usualy pass like the glass tank I made and put on my T500 a few years back. All joking aside, if you were to get into a accident, you insurance might be void if the insurance company was to find out. Best to check it out to be safe, just say'n
