Haven't had a lot of extra time lately..new job and all... But I figured I'd force a few beers down me today.. ...and post a few more pics... Mind ya...they'll be mostly of me...but that was Debs' instructions, and she almost listened... A little dark...but you get the idea...here's another... Waiting to get my butt kicked... In the water...lets see...which way is the tire going to spin??? I had it happen twice in Norwalk...start the bike...kick it in gear...and it went backwards!! Dyna ignition quirk I guess. Once was in the water...felt like an idiot...the other time was in the staging lanes before pulling out....re-started both times...it was OK...Still looked like a dope!! (I'm used to it...) ;D Friday nite when I got there....that's 'DJ' trying to figurer whether to punch me out ...or party... We deceided to party!!....after all he outweighs me by 200+ pounds....or more!!! ...but he also figured I could out run him!! Notice the 'Kawasaki Canada' shirt? Got lots more shots...but it's going to be a long winter!!! Gary

great pics, thanks for posting she is telling you that she wants a whisker less spark advance, or a bit higher octane,or a titch of each she is just only making just a bit too much pressure just btdc it likely starts in one direction or the other depending on how hard you kick it

Yer rite Joker!! That was one of my few 'sissy' moments.... Deb was missing her cats I guess...and DJ had enuf room on his...er...'breasts'..to hold a 12 pack!! And yer rite too 'trip... We figure is a combination of timing and kicking. The fuel is C-12, 110 octane ($20 a gallon )..I'm not getting anything hotter than that!! The way the bike is started..I push a clutch engage air switch, that allows me to kick the slider set-up over. What I do, wrongly, is kick it slowly the first few times to make sure it's actually turning over, then give it more boots. That move, combined with a bit too much 'time', makes the motor run backwards, something you don't know until you put it in gear and try to move. Should be an easy fix, if not, I'll start it sooner...and pretend I planned it that way!! 'Ya, I run it backwards for a bit to allow the flux capacitors and the hyper drive to reconfigure to make more horsepower' Mite fool someone!! Gary

There's two dates pretty well confirmed to the S/E (Super Eliminator) class for next year. Indy is going to be Aug 1st-2nd (test and tune on Fri. July 31st) and Norwalk OH Oct. 10-11 (same thing for Fri. 9th) There's going to be a third meet...maybe a 4th....but there's still a date in June yet to be determined, when and where....and perhaps a 4th somewhere...if enuf racers can agree. This is pretty well hedging on the June location. Time won't allow me to go to say, Memphis, or any point more than a 12 hour drive one way....work and all. Indy and Norwalk, in case you haven't noticed, are on CDN holiday weekends. Civic in Aug...Thanksgiving in Oct. Works out great for me, with Monday being either a no show or late for work....but it may screw up some of you family guys/gals. My family hates me...and the feeling is mutual on my part!! If anything, it looks like Norwalk OH will be the big one. I believe a bunch of the 'Brits, and even more 'Merycuns will show again. It would be great to have some CDN support, not just for me, but to show those sissys how to drink!! Deb's been at both meets, and she'll tell you there's a lot to do for the 'girlies'...not just watch, but to hang out with the other wives/girlfriends. It's not just a 'guy' race weekend, although that's how I treat it! ( a normal weekend for me!!...I'm such a dick...) ;D We've been motelling it...Indy was about $55 a nite...had a restraunt/bar rite there...breakfast ect....Norwalk was about the same...Nice rooms...Deb said the ceilings were nicely painted...I was looking at the bed sheets... When it comes to local races for me next year...Grand Bend is going to be my 'home' track...several reasons. First of all it's close...like <20 mins...but it has a longer shut down...safety,a much smoother surface...less ball ache, and a better starting line prep, more WOW- HF factor!! Again...it's going to be a long winter, but for youse guys interested, it wouldn't hurt to start dropping some hints!! Gary
