Looks great!
That's one of my favourite movies old movies but I won't admit it in the presence of non-motorcycle enthusiasts.
Those pins are always a pain to fit after a tank has been repainted. They are a tight fit and that little bit of paint and clear in the hole has to be removed before the pin will slide through.

I ran into the same thing, I used my welding tip cleaner, cat's butt for carb cleaning and the big tip's will "file" out that clear and paint quick. A great tool for triplers

OK, I mustered up some courage and got the cap and fuel tap on and installed the tank and gassed it up and watched it hold the gas without leaking. So far so good, I have bad pics, need to get more done and a sunny day to highlight it.

Here's the best pic my camera could do. Kinda highlights a need for rim paint/polish and a rear tail mole. Brawney, you still have that piece I can use? I've got your CD still.

Next time we hook up, I got an H1 mole you can have, free. Your talkin the trim around the trunk edge that appears to be missing from yours. damn that thing looks better every time I see it, good job

Looks great Anthony. There is one thing you might check on though; the mole is hidden with the seat closed, the gap between your seat and your trunk is a tad bigger than it should be, if you are able, try moving the whole tail forward or move the tank and seat back a bit.
That green scheme is the one I remember the most, my buddy had a hopped up H2B and I raced him with my H2. He always won because he was a better rider (but I was 17 and would never admit that -- I convinced myself his bike was quicker).

I'm pretty sure the seat was unlatched in the photo. I'll double check that.
