Jim (pipewelder) sent me a text last night if I was going - I plan on it with the wife and kiddos - who else and what days ? We wonโt be camping we will be there for just the afternoon - anyone who meets up with me will get the pleasure of my 4 year old talking your ear off about bikes
My schedule hasn't let me make plans ahead of time but I hope to make it to the track Friday possibly camping over otherwise Saturday morning.
Looking forward to having a bike chat with a 4 yr old. Lol.
Ian (H2Dude) emailed that the CVMG Eastern Shield will jump in and host the Concours for this year."We have really made an improvement in the Concours over the last few years." said Ian. I hope he's going to be there also.
Raimo and (Z1)Dave who you guys met at Neds should both be there Friday. I was hoping Ned may come out to this one also. I'll have a cold beer there for ya Mr. Walms and maybe I should pick up some wine for Donna.
Last year was such a big event so it will be interesting to see the turnout this year. It's a cheap weekend for the Merican racers with the $ exchange and I hope a lot of them return for this years event.

We saw Jim,Givr & Curtis & family .
The Concors had some nice bikes this year .A couple of accidents on Saturday . One later in the day sent riders back rumours our way said 3-5 riders down near Moss's corner. nothing confirmed, no injuries reported at that time. Side cars were great once again. Another great turn out rumours are it maybe the last one .( VRRA issues ) here's hoping they can sort their internal mess out

We were told Norm Murphy had a problem going into 1 and went down hard. The bike tumbled and was heavily damaged.
Andrew Nelson went down Saturday also but we spoke to him and he's Ok.
The red flag was several guys wend down together and one was taken to the hospital.

I waved to Curtis across the lot but never did hookup for a chat. Giver and I hung out and met LC in the afternoon. It was nice to camp out in the old Motorhome I scored. Great racing even had some vintage Superbikes out there.
Great to see Sandra and Ian and a great turnout of show bikes at the CVMG.
Dave Crussel was absent due to injories from his crash at the Isle of Mann. He's out of racing for this season. Best wishes for fast healing.

Waved back at you - the kids were starving so we had a bite to eat. You werenโt there when we came back through so we walked the pits. Ended up leaving around 1ish to go to the in laws ๐ Kids loved the side car races - when I told them that the passenger is called the monkey they thought that was the coolest thing in the world

Givr and I were at the top of the straight when one of the F1 side cars blew the engine with a large cloud of smoke pumping out the pipe as he passed us and made it off onto the grass.Great sound from those engines. We ran into Tony Russell and Mike Taylor at Corner two. Tony still has the Kawi 750 Turbo stored away that's in the picture below. We figured we hadn't talked since he had the Kawasaki Race Team in Port Perry in 2003. Nice to catch up.

Yep. Another great weekend. Rain held off on Sunday and it was stinking hot again. Jimmy's new camper, think he said he'd trade it for my KZ. Maybe I'm mistaken... Really liked the billet clamps on this KZ Turn 2 action The usual suspects, great seeing you guys again! Was great seeing Sandra and Ian. Nice seeing your family too Curtis, your kids are awesome! Also had an interesting chat with Dave Howarth and Rick Yates. Jim introduced me to so many people I lost track, he knows everybody!
