Whoooooohooo! Were planning to Head Back to Alabama....This is the 2017 Thread but 2023 is time to go again If any of you can make it, were staying at the Hilton Birmingham Perimeter Park Hotel 205 967 2700 Rick usually finds some great rates on flights out of Buffalo with a low cost car rental. I know most of you have heard us go on and on about Barber Motorsports Park, but seriously, this particular event is like "Disney World for vintage gear-heads"! If there's any way you can swing it, you owe it to yourselves to get yer butts down there for the Vintage Festival held in October (Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend) every year. This year will be our 3rd time and I know Rick has been around 8 or 10 times!  It doesn't get 'old'.  |

Yes.we found cheap flights this year again. Everything is booked for our 12th trip there......the museum has doubled in size since last year..

Thanks Curtis! Seaglider and I are leaving on Wednesday afternoon. We're driving a rental van down with the bikes in the back. We'll be back on Monday afternoon.  Should be a blast! We'll post pics and maybe some video when we get back. |

Seaglider's h1/750 Triple isn't going this time. It's still not "up to snuff".  I guess that means we'll need to make ANOTHER trip down next year. Come on lads, join us in October 2018!! So, it's the '10r Retro' and the 'zrx1200/zx13' making the trip in our Enterprise rent-a-racer van. They're already loaded and ready to roll south to Alabama at noon tomorrow! Maybe Seaglider and I will finally have a pair of working h1/750's for the trip NEXT year.   |

You saw a Britten!!!! That's a bucket list thing for sure! The other week I was wearing my KTC shirt out at a local brewery where an older gentleman saw it and stricked up a convo about triples and eventually about the Barber museum saying how "i have to go". I think I'll take him up on that now |
