It comes after thinking things over a long time. I have decided to cancel my "biker Don's" weekend after 9 great years. With my wife's recent and well deserved promotion at Toyota, the starting of my successful business, the general lack of spare time and add in some health issues over the last couple years, it still wasn't an easy decision to make. Sally and I would like to say thanks to everyone who attended and made the party what it was for the many who attended.

You and Sally have been fantastic hosts for our bunch of hooligans. Dont ever forget how much we have enjoyed your hospitality and the weekends in Paris.
Thanks a million

A sad but completely understandable decision Don. I guess you'll have to buy your own pretty juice for Sally now. And, congrats to Sally on her promotion. I'll miss that weekend.

At least I made it to one, I'm sure some of us will stop in to say hi...what department at Toyota and what plant do you work at? My cousin (that also lives in Paris) is in the paint shop

This is a major bummer, but I understand Don. Thank you and Sally very much for the years of great times. If it wasn't for you, a lot of us would have never met. I'll go cry in my soup now

- Wow; 9 yrs (2008-2016). There is going to be a lot of watered down soup! - I only made it in 2009 after Joker & III told me what a great time they had in 2008. I've been trying to get back there every year since. Even though it rained in 2009 I had such a blast. I know a lot of those who road with out group on Sat. liked my smoking burnout at the fuel stop. Being the original owner of my 1972 Kaw H2 and a drag racer from 1973 to 1985, I could not resist. Am hoping to get the bike back together this spring after (finally) putting a new seal (leaking clutch fluid into RH crankcase) in the engine. If it still runs as good as it did the last time I had it on the road, I may take it to a local 1/8 mile strip ... www.facebook.com/SkyView-Drags-270895936283/ ... and see if I can get into the 7's (7.99 ET) like it did at Cicero ... www.estadrags.com/ ... in 1985. - Thank you Don and Sally for all you've done over the years. You have brought us together and created memories that we all cherish. I wish the very best to both of you, and hope you will keep in touch. Dick Jamieson - Horseheads, NY USA Drag racer - If you can't win, make your competition set a new record!

Being "the new guy" last year I had my reservations about just showing up but as I pulled up to Donnie's and saw him doing a burnout I knew I was in the right place.
Thanks for opening up your garage and welcoming me into the KTC world.
