If you took a survey before last year of 1000 people and asked what an H2 was, most would say a Hummer........... True JA! The "Kawasaki Crowd" and the vintage 2 Stroke Gang should 'get it'. I just figure it's a good excuse to make up a custom shirt. My shirt drawer isn't quite full.

I'll bet there wasn't this much uproar over the 1989 Kawasaki ZX750H1 from the triple crowd. Mind you we didn't have the Internet back then! Lol! Al Gore was still keeping it under wraps at the time I bet...........
There have been numerous Kaw models using H1 H2 for designations over the years. Just none that were touted like the "new" H2r is.Yeah, I seem to recall my wife's '83 GPz550 also had the H1 designation. N.

Times change boys and so do bikes!! but if you look at Kawasaki's idea to make a bike untouchable in every aspect, one to blow the record books to pieces and be the bike everyone talks about!! then what better name to give it then name it after the last bike to do such a thing But when someone does ask me if i like the H2. Ill be sure to reply with " Those old smokers kick ass"
