In BC most shops are using Mongoose in Vancouver. I had them do my kh500. Took some time. They said they had to get new tools as it was their 1st tripple. Seems to be done right. Hope you get the bike going in time for the western rally

Regarding a western rally, I just threw that that out there to test the water. Although Victoria is far from central, (for western) I would be willing to host it next summer. On the flip side, it is a really great place to ride. Have wanted to post videos of my dead of winter rides, but knowing what kind of winter Ontario had last year was scared I might be barred from this forum.

Post them! I was told by Jamoo that in the dead of winter it's best to view them on the big screen, put your helmet on and sit real close. My thought was to store your riding jacket in a garbage bag so it's good and fresh for the occasion.

Doesn't Jamoo have winters to make me jealous? Regarding the garbage bag, might work well to fill it with some triples fumes before storage, Klotz oil if the wife does not yet fully appreciate the smell. Found it works best on a cold start. More fumes and doesn't melt the bag.

True, it's pretty much year round riding here, the only down side is the mountain roads get sanded so not so much fun....

So have gotten the jugs off finally after much soaking, heat and other stuff. Unfortunately 2 of the jugs skirts cracked in the process. Does anyone know if they can be re-sleeved? I hope so. If not I guess i'll be looking for jugs and pistons.
