It's a pile of work restoring these things. A guy named Soupdragon showed me how to crack open H1 meters, I'm very fortunate to be able to design/print/cut my own decals anymore, I have the best digital print facility for my personal use at my finger tips. I pay only for material's and impression charges ( XEROX charges the college 15 cents per side printed) And a big bonus, now I'm all current more or less with the digital technology. Btw I paid Andre for B decal's cuz his are "the best in the world" I'm just doing some 1948 truck meters now. After repairing a human hair sized broken coil wire inside the fuel gage the old rusty 6v thing buzzes and is working now when float is activate manually. I fully test, cleaned and lubed where needed. all meters working, can't test oil pressure yet, the engines coming next week. Just pulled some proofs yesterday for old Barley, going to show him tonight. The face plate glass had all the silk screened numbers fall off(and is broke), LoL. Barley pulled his speedo out, when he set it down on the bench a little hard 90% of the rest of letters had fell off into the bottom. I laughed my a$$ off, he didn't see the humor. now we had nothing to look at to copy I apologize, I don't do meters other than my own, I just don't have time. this is a favour for my life long friend who was quoted 550 USD's to have them restored. I'll try and post some pic's, my 10 yr old MAC is acting up presently. It's getting sluggish again copied from Bob's speedo's before picture My Vector image copied from Bob's Speedos image Due to the fact I had to rig up a completely different water temp meter that runs the other direction, the 212 and 100f have now reversed until he finds a replacement and I will reface the glass again. I used a bit map scan for the REO, as well as the meter increments. When scanned properly as a twice sized 2400dpi bitmapped-tiff, retouching in photoshop can be done altho a litttle differently than "normal" . The 2 end results are: a near perfect reproduction as I have achieved, and impressing 2 of my "superiors" with skills one of them didn't possess. (my mac is hurting bad, this took me an hour ffs) I'll post more next week. working on an 83kz1000 that didn't run, someone plugged the carb vac line LoL I got it running perfect now, valves checked, waiting carb holders, brakes and some stuff from Andy. I'm afraid to try opening the MC, someones been at the screws in a bad way.

see the cheap bling above? Turn signal bolt heads were rusty/pitted. I flipped the bolt over in the hole and garnish with a stainless acorn.
