my h1b was running really sweet but now its popping /backfiring the timing is set at 25 degrees and was set up by local garage new plugs the carbs are 30 piliot 100 mains needle clip 3 exhausts are factory pipes it starts first kick pull away get to about 1 /4 throttle pos /backfires it then does this again at 3/4 im guessing its afuel /air problem because the timing was set only 500 miles ago i guess it should be still ok ? just wondering on the timing side of things if there is a video of how to check timing on h1b points set up ?

I find I have to re check the gap and the timing after 500 miles. then about every thousand. I have had them firing at 3.1..3.4 and 2.8.. As they wear you can feel the drop in performance Start by checking the point gap and as for timing you will want a dial gauge..DO NOT use the pointer.useless anyway/
