Just got back from Grand Bend and the little F7 shone in the 250 class. I won the 200 race...( 1 entry), so I entered it in the 250cc class for more seat time. I think I finished 3rd or 4th...passed a lot of the bigger bikes on the short twisty track. Had an absolute blast dicing with Derek on his 250 Suzuki T20 until I was able to make the pass stick on the 10th lap...what a hoot!
The sidecar was fiercely competitive, but my passenger just couldn't hold on so we retired after Saturday's practice session. It's really physically demanding to pilot and passenger....I'm exploring my options about keeping it or passing it on to a couple of younger riders who can ride it the way it was meant to be.
See you guys at Mosport!

Sorry I missed it Rick. Things came up and I wasn't able to go. That F7 must be a lot like riding an old TZ125 As that was a first time for the event, What do you think of the track? I assume its a bit like Shanonville.

I assume its a bit like Shanonville. The track was short at 1.8km's but very technical. Lots of tight corners and a long straightaway that ends in a double apex right. Very smooth surface with excellent traction. I really enjoyed running the F7 on it. The sidecar...not so much,,LOL....
