What a shock to meet John William's. Great stories right from the mouth of the guy who was the real thing. A Champion!
John is a legend and I hope he gets his memoirs of all those years of extreme racing recorded for future generations.
Here's a video that tells some of the tale.

WOW Jim, thanks for finding that link man.
He was a riot to hang out with for sure.
Frank and I rode with him on the 401 for around 50 miles or so.
He split off after Kingston.
We met he and Dave and his woman on the Harley just before getting on the highway.
Dave went the other way. John books on that Spyder deal. WOW...
Why am I not sursprised?
Merry Christmas guys.
I went up to Nick Kemps shop yesterday (Christmas Eve)with Lang Hindle and Mike Crompton the famed Kawi race team mechanic to give Nick his Christmas gift. (Steve III's Great KAWI TRIPLES 2015 CALENDER). Nick said he just got off the phone with John Williams and John told him about the great time he had with all the triple guys in Tweed.
Some of you will remember John's crazy stories that he told at Ian's about Nicks Nitro engine in the hill climber. Well I was there I found one of John's head gaskets from the 750 hanging on the wall. I had to take a picture. Nick had the cylinder head there from this little nitro explosion that happened and it had a nice even curve across the gasket surface. When john said it blew up now and then he wasn't kidding. Lol
