Nice pics and interesting bikes! Any right side shots of the LC single and lefts of the S2? Sweet H1 but needs a nice set of pipes.

Our friend Sam Williams. He passed away on Oct. 29th after a bout with cancer. Sam was a teammate of Lang Hindles' back in the glory years of the 70's. I think Jim and I have spoken about the Tri-Mill endurance race bike before. We had several opportunities to chat with him at Mid-Ohio over the last couple of years, including this past July. He was a real racer and one of the good guys! www.roadracingworld.com/news/racer-sam-williams-rip/

Hey, I wonder where Sam's Tri-Mill is now Jim??!! Better get Lang on the case!! Tri-Mill? These are recent (2011) pics of the Tri-Mil endurance racer. Sam and Lang Hindle were part of the team based out of California, that road these unique machines for a few years in the 70's. Drew will remember this! Sams KAWASAKI's and the Tri-Mill Mid Ohio 2011 This bike pictured is the one that Sam had and the first one we had seen "in the flesh". Later, Lang got his hands on one as well, and he's in the process of restoring it and possibly putting it on the road in Ontario. See the "Inside Motorcycles" thread in the General section to see a pic of Lang's Tri-Mil Project for the street.

Here's a nice video from the 2011 Mid-Ohio Vintage Event where Kawasaki was the Marque of The Year You guys should try to make it there next summer. III was there with RB and his gang along with Raimo, Drewski and a bunch of others from the GTA. Seems to always be a good event. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOvdHAVhqhI&noredirect=1

Hey, I wonder where Sam's Tri-Mill is now Jim??!! Better get Lang on the case!! Tri-Mill? I just saw this article from Inside Motorcycles that has some of the Tri-Mil story explained.www.insidemotorcycles.com/blogs/item/127-colins-corner-hindle-special.html"Hindle helped persuade Lester Wheels to commission a custom frame from California, produced by a dune buggy fabrication shop in Long Beach. Hence the Tri-Mil Kawasaki prototype was born, one of the rarest road racers of the custom bike world. With a single, large diameter backbone linked to a single rear shock – using the engine as a stressed member – the Tri-Mil was certainly ahead of its time."
