How about Givr's answer to silencers; converting rattle can paint can casings... They're large diameter (good to absorb noise) light weight, and "thrifty". They actually look and work OK! J Shucks guys, you always bring this up. It all started when the "stock" can fell off my bike on the way to work. Couldn't find on the road, so I continued on, and made up something quick and dirty so I wouldn't attract the fuzz on the way home. Very simple really, a piece of electrical conduit, drilled and with slots cut to allow clamping to the stinger end with a regular hose clamp. The q and d version was a pop can duct taped on. Worked well enough to get home. Raw materials are inexpensive and plentiful, the conduit is wrapped with some yellow oven insulation I had lying around..... Turned out pretty good....

I may be wrong, but I think that "special" price is good only when you buy the silencers as part of a package deal.

Just add 3 to cart 148 and change no package deal I'm aware of

Then I'm wrong about that. I remember a couple years ago I was thinking of buying three of their silencers, but it turned out that special price was good only if I also bought an exhaust system. Maybe they've extended the special price for the aluminum silencers to anyone.

Volkswagen peashooter exhaust tips are cheap, You can get them online for $6.00 each, They have an internal baffle with packing and chrome on the outside, according to my boss, (former Tz road racer) He ran those in the 70's for noise restricted tracks, I'm picking one up tomorrow to check out the fit on my H1 racer. TMP has a 104db max. and for sure I will blow over with no restriction....so I hope this will do the trick.

My next thought will be Briggs and Stratton lawn mower muffler, ($15) They are straight through baffled but would have to cobble up something to make them fit.

The Briggs type is not straight through. They have a baffle plate midway that forces the gas through the perforations to the outside, then back to the center on the outlet side of the baffle plate. Very restrictive and unsuitable for triples.

I got my baffle in today and overall, it's worth every penny of $25. The I.D. Is 1" so even good for an H2. I'll keep the full length stinger on the G3, so I'm good to go. The only negative is the mig welding for the exhaust tip looks like the welds on my frame.

Never mind the babes, the ad also says those colored cans are suitable for "Two stroke car under 125cc". That's gotta be a sizeable market... N.

What material are they made of Walms. And are they the same stinger size as your h2 WTF's browney out

The front plug and tube is made of aluminum, the flange for the end is zinc coated steel, the rear end cap and tube are thin ga. Stainless. MIG'd together. The perforated tube is mild steel 1" ID the same as H2 wtf stinger. I don't see the downside for $75 IMO for a triple. This is assuming all their baffles are the same diameter I'd ask the seller that question before purchasing.
