I am sooo bored!!! Every light works, carbs have been synched..... 3 times. Just waiting to fire her up but need warmer weather. No gas allowed in the house. I even cleaned up the shop. Well, moved some stuff around anyway. Spring is somewhere ahead. Hopefully sooner than later.

10 degrees C. i was so sick of waiting that I pushed it outside, after digging out the garage door and put it on the walk out patio in the basement. started after about 12 kicks. Runs on all cylinders. I mixed the gas and held the oil pump wide open. I can see oil pumping to the cylinders but it does not fill the line only bubbles. Is there a way to get it pumping better than that. I tried loosening the inlet feed line banjo bolt..Oil is getting to the pump. I held it wide open for at least 10 to 15 minutes.
Oh yeah, the house filled up with smoke. Momma doesn't really like that. i thought it smells great. Small difference of opinion.

I know what you mean I am using 118 race gas in my 500, I last fired my bike up two days ago and I still have that sweet smell in my shop and on my shop clothes. Nice bike , by the way . I would love a 750. Steve

10 degrees C. sun's out. Time to fire up the H's. h2 is really hard to start. I started out with my rubber winter boots on and bruised the heck out of my instep. After , I put on a real boot but too late of course, now I'm limping. Seems that there is a problem with the carbs. I manually fuel inject with a funnel and it starts and runs pretty well. Went for a 200 foot ride and it pulls nicely and switches gears, well. into second anyway. I almost wiped out on a patch of ice on the road at the end of the driveway though.
The oil pump is bringing oil in because I can see it in the clear hose but it is still just pumping bits out. The lines are not full. what's up with that? Hopefully a lot more smow will melt this week.

Seems that there is a problem with the carbs. I manually fuel inject with a funnel and it starts and runs pretty well. I had the same problem with my 500, the floats were set to spec but the kits I used for the rebuild had different needle and seat lengths than stock. So with just the bowls on the floats were closed! took me a while to figure it out. Great looking bike btw
