Cleaning your triple can be a pain or a labour of love . I found a cheap and caressing way to clean your loved and cherished machine . When the lower parts all get covered in spooge as you guys call it , I use Gojo hand cleaner wipes . Great for removing grease , oil , bugs , slime , and harley bits that get lodged in your fins . If it removes grease and whatever else you were playing with that day from your hands , it works like a charm on your spewing dragon of a triple also Thank you for reading handy hints and helpful tips . Your filthy road crud ridden front forks will thank you for it Rocket

I really would like to find a good set of caps for the carbs when taking off pods to wash it. So far hose clamp and cut tubes is a pain in the ass. Was looking into "caplugs" but I don't really want to special order only three. Might be worth a big order if others are interested??? They will build them to your very own specifications with a few choices of materials.

Depending on you type of carb, but squash balls worked well for sealing ports...

Another thought... Call "Caps N' Plugs and ask for some samples... Just tell them you have 1000 holes to plug but need to test first.

Free samples. I like it! Too bad I just couldn't get some hot chick to wash it for me.... But maybe I could?.
On another note I finally bought some simple green... Don't know how I lived with out it!

It's best to ensure that the head pipes are sealed properly to the ports. Then all spooge is directed to the vehicle behind you, as LC can attest before he got sick of the leisurely granny pace. Better on someone elses bike than mine.

Pressure wash at coin car wash (bag and elastic pod filters first). Ride bike and get it hot until engine throughly dry. J
