They're not that great... I didn't think about it before, but I think they could possibly scrape with the bike leaned over hard in a corner.
I would be interested in those silencers if you can find the link.. I was thinking f buying the toomey silencers, but they're $60 each. They are really well made though.

In a similar discussion on the Yank board. We learned these are loud but work OK. They said you can remove the baffle from the hanger pipe shown, and it will slip right inside Wirges and Denco pipes. Not sure what the ID of the pipes are right now. III

I'd make the stinger the diameter and length that was called up on the pipe design. As long as the baffle i.d. is the same size or bigger, it won't effect the back pressure much. It is more dramatic on back pressure to change the dia. than it's length.

Theres somthing I don't understand.. If I have a 8" silencer, do I cut that amount off the stinger when I mount it? Or does it have to be mounted at the end of the stinger at the designed length?

Got My stuff back from the painter... still have to put on the decals and get a few more coats of clear. Ended up using AMC big bad green... It looks better outside.

More green! I love it. Much better that the creamy primer you had on there before.

Yeah, It turned out pretty good. Looks even better with the decals on.. Haven't put the tank decals on yet, going to get someone to help me so I don't wreck them.
It's a cut up RD350LC fender.

Hmmm... I think I've seen this some where before... What type/colour of decals are you going to use? Your bike is going to look awesome! Nice work!
