Andrew, the bike looks great. The graphics are nice too...I never liked yellow bikes too much, but that looks sweet. My brother in law had a real early naked Golwing..bought it new in '75 and put 160,000 miles on it. It was a pale yellow - but actually looked awesome.
By the way, I like the tail as it is..this s a small bike, a big tail wold look silly IMHO.

Nothing is set in stone with the colour yet... Waiting on Megan to deside. My only veto is pink! Lol I got playing around last night because I just wasn't finding a fiberglass seat that was the right size and I liked the look. Jim H offered to weld it so maybe this idea has legs...

Hey Walms, just a thought, what about one of this Champion dirttrack style tail pieces? might be a little different, visually stretch it out a bit.

More playing around... Not happy yet though. No luck on the champion frames, they are all wider. I'm going to switch gears and design a high pipe for it... I tried an oil tank in the frame but I'm thinking now I might keep that area open. On the motor side, I'm still sourcing parts... My Frankenstein assembly will be made up from parts from motors ranging from 1971 to 1996... I'm a sucker for punishment, I swear! In the end though, I'll have a motor that will have readily available parts. I believe they made the same KE100B from 1981 to 1999 I'll be porting the cases myself but I've decided to send the cylinder down to John for porting. The thinking know is to port to G31M specs and open the intake to handle a 26mm carb. In the end, I'll probably re-contour the head as well. I'll be hunting for a short in length carb, anyone with recommendations?

How about a pipe the goes to the left of the engine, and then back through the frame behind the engine and mid-height to the rear from there?

Exactly what I was thinking... The head that I need to use is slightly smaller on the left side to make room for the high pipe, plus there is plenty of room to go outside the frame but inside the rear shock.

It's a double edged sword though... It's easy to change stuff so you are never satisfied with the results. I'm at the point where I want to do a design, then look at it and say yeah, that is exactly what I want!!! I don't feel I'm there quite yet... That's why I thought I'd work on another pipe and get some inspiration there.
