Don't baby it when breaking it in. I did on my first H1 rebuild and ended up with lots of blow-by. The next time I seated the rings cringing a bit, but no blow-by... Warmed it up, ran it thru the gears to red line. Then let it cool down, re-torque the heads, consider it good to ride normally. It is a bit tough the first time after a rebuild tho, you really think the thing is going to grenade! This sounds like the plan for me. I have ordered the clutch m/c and assorted parts to complete Ned'd slave instal so I figure I have two weeks before everything arrives from amazon.
