Thats enough of a break in and being nice and thought I would give a 1st gear throttle wheelie a go but it didn't stand up so...
What works for you? I tried taking it up to about 3k, backed off then crammed it open.
I'm thinking maybe it's still a little too rich in the bottom, first burnout went just fine. ;D

Just do some bunny hops bake and it will come up for ya real easy . Throttle on and off real qiuck to get her hoppin and then crank er when you see the front wheel start to lift . Gonna be real bouncy but lot's of fun . Do this in first gear and start at around 10 to 15 miles an hr . The speed will increase as you are giving er !

If you have your jetting spot on you should be able to just hit power wheelies in 2nd gear, dont be afraid of taking the RPM up once she is broke it more.

Your extended swinger may make wheelies difficult. Later model H2's are harder to wheelie and they are only a tiny bit longer. If all else fails, grab some clutch at 3K, when it gets in the red, let her go.. ;D

You have 3 things going against you, long wheelbase, forward seating, and Wirges pipes do nothing for power.
So it will take some finesse............

My Little 350, I just take it up to about 3500 to 4500, let off and Nail the bastard, and I give it a tiny little pull and it stands up pretty good. That is with clubman bars on it. Like Rocket says, sometimes I do the bunny hop thing.

When piped you loose here, gain there. My jetting / homemade baffles take away some bark no doubt. Walms advise about sums it up.
1st gear for me is @ 3 and smack, up it comes. 2nd gear you have to catch the power band spot on or baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, I slow down! About 5ooo-55oo and whack, it'll hold the wheel up to over 60mph. Tach to 10K .....or a good power shift into 2nd and your air born but it really comes up fast, it's scarey.
Burnout's no prob. Did a 30 yarder, my best so far, somewhere there is a picture of it.
Me and LC had a bog race, his sounded just like mine, punched until wound right out

I agree the on-off-on method with the throttle works. But the roll-on wheelie is more satisfying. ;D What's your sprocket ratio like?

I agree the on-off-on method with the throttle works. But the roll-on wheelie is more satisfying. ;D What's your sprocket ratio like? Very true givr but to get a feel for what a new frame like bakes is gonna do I would start with a few hops to find the balance . Once he get's cummfy with the feel he can do the distance wheelie which in my case means kneeling on the seat in second gear at around 20 to 30 mpr . Then bring in the clutch . 2 full blips and dump the clutch . Bring the wheel up to just about eye level and keep it there with throttle corrections . Or just be lasy and sit on the seat . Been a very long time since I have done any seriuos wheelies . Looking at your frame bake try sitting a little farther back on the seat . And above all else be carefull . You don't want to ding that beauty .
