I really want to make this bike look so modified and wild looking that people will drive across the globe just to see it in person.
I know I have some competition with Bake.. But I will do my best
When I first got it from my Dad - who bought from Autofobe
Pulled down, cleaned carbs, rebuild carbs, starts and runs!
Possible headlights, These ones do NOT work, they are off the plow truck, i just threw them on there to get an idea of how it would look
My plan is to run an after market speedo and have it recessed into its own *headlight shell* that will have all the wiring tucked neatly into it. and have the key switch mounted in the shell as well. ( semi stealing ideas from drewski and bake...)
Keep checking as I will update every week with new pictures

Regarding straight bars; might not be an issue for you, but if the bar is too straight, I find it's hard on the wrists under braking. Spray paint or hairspray help keep the grips on, but may fail eventually. Wheelies are frowned upon by law enforcement.
