Givr, you still want to ride out to Tweed on the Friday? Maybe we can look at a more scenic route other then the 401 or Hwy #7?? Anybody else in? From just outside Peterborough on HWY 7 You could take Heritage line( road 34) to Keene Turn left at the stop sign Follow to Hastings and turn South on 25 follow thru town and up the road someways take 35 to Cambellford Once in Cambellford . Cross the bridge and turn right onto Front street . This is the Springbrook road. You can follow this right to HWY 62 . Turn left on HWY 62 and follow to Quin mo lac road. This will take you right into Tweed. Turn left at the lights and Tims and Sulphide is right there.

We bumped into the "Old Ba$tards Motorcycle club" at Mosport... They have a big rally going on in Delta Ontario Sept 10-12.... I believe this is the same weekend as Tweed Just throwing it out there for discussion www.oldbastards.ca/1379.html

Yup they had it last year on that weekend. Are you thinking of a ride to the rally Walms? It's North of Kingston Nice roads We could take the road we did last year to HWY 38 and cut across to 15 then to the rally

I don't know much about these guys Ian but we did get the invite to go... I suppose if we did go, it would spoil the plans made so far.

At the time, it seemed like a cool idea but I could envision us doing the same as we have done at the Paris rally so far.... Show up, then take off after 15 minutes ;D

That's Kim Ameys triples A guy in BC got the H2C for cheap . I believe the 72 350 is sold and not sure on the other H2. Nasty divorce
My buddy almost got the H2C for $3,500, Just didn't have the cash at that moment. Then went to E Bay

I sure like that red 72 S3. That would look quite fine parked beside the H2

I bought an H1 engine of that guy a couple of years back. He had 2 portable garages behind his shop with row after row of shelving with mostly snow machine engines. The day before I got there was very windy, well the wind caught the one of the flaps and pulled the first shelve down and into the next then the second into the third and so on. Talk about the domino effect! There must have been over 200 engines and all the shelving in a big pile.
