Just checked the long term weather forcast for Tweed, Looks like friday and Saturday will be good, Sunday might be a bit Ify. I may have to pool my resources here and call shanonville and speek to my buddy Mohawk Mike to get him to do a Sun Dance on Sunday morning for us. :-) www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/caon0701

Funny the other day it said Rain Friday Saturday and cloudy on Sunday. They were also calling for rain Wednesday & Thursday and a chance of showers on Friday. I wouldn't worry about Sunday after all it's the Picton fair weekend and as far as I can remember it rarely rains after the labour day weekend.

I stopped looking at weather forecasts after Lou gave me shet about it ahead of the first Paris rally. ;D The question to ask yourself is, will rain keep me from going to this event? My answer every time is a resounding, "HELL NO!" T-storms, hail, and tornado's are another matter. I actually didn't mind the rain on our Huron tour. My Saturday is getting more f***ed. In addition to the memorial service I'm to go to in Penetang, I just found out the wife's family re-union is Saturday in Orillia. Could be a showdown at the givr corral. So, do I come down Friday afternoon, and hang out then, and leave Saturday morning? Or try the Saturday? By the time things occur, I probably wouldn't be in Tweed until late evening.

Well, if Rain is not going to make any one whimp out, then I will not either. There is alot to be said for green garbage bags ducked taped around your legs and one with a hole poked throug the top to keep you dry :-) and yes I have done that. :-) :-) :-) as I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done that. but I'm still going to talk to Mohawk Mike anyway. ;-).

What a PITA day... was onsite at Investors [same building as in the video] and had to work overtime... at least I got out I literally just finished loading up the truck with the D and Z's H1... another PITA in the dark Lmao ;D ;D As an aside the bike was acting weird almost like Donnie's post about his B where I had the same sound but wouldn't idle right and then snap it would be ok once it got a good heat soak. I know my petcock needs a rebuild and more than likely the carbs have some crap in them but I said piss on it I'll wait until I get to Tweed to fart around with it Need some zzzzz's as 4 am comes early

Steve, are you taking the 400? I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Head out Friday, back Sat morning. Let me know what time you're thinking of leaving. I could split after work.

I'm on vacation as of 4:00 pm today!!! Yee Haa!! ;D My plan for Friday is to get on the road before noon and take may time on Hwy. #7. I really don't want to be leaving after 4 with the cottage rush. Givr can you get off work any earlier? We can always ride back together on Saturday.

I think I might be able to pull something off. I'll work late the next couple of days to make up for it. I'm thinking at this point to meet at the Tim's in Port Perry say between 12-12:30pm Friday afternoon? I'm liking this idea. This first night party is the rowdiest. ;D I'd need to get back to Whitby for 10-11am Saturday. Walms, What time are you cruising thru our neck of the woods?
