Beautiful work Dave!
The 400F has to be one of the nicest designed bikes from Honda in the '70's.
You've got a keeper there!!!

Thanks Steve. Yes, it must be ready for the show. I'm cutting it a little close though, I'm still waiting on a few things in the mail..

Thanks Man. My dad donated an original 4-1 to me. The muffler is really nice, but the header needs some clean up.

The stock exhaust is so quiet.. I do have to come up with an exhaust for my dad as a replacement for his stocker.. You're just pissed Honda beat Kawi to the punch with the revolutionary CB750.

Dave, great job. Are those bikes as expensive to restore as triples?

I'm sure it's cheaper... supply and demand thing eh! ;D
Just kiddin Dave, it looks sweet! I remember a buddy had one in high school... I wasn't as fast but it sure sounded a heck of allot better then the Suzuki GS 400 twin my brother had.
BTW, I sort of remember you scrambling to get your 500 triple ready for the show... You like deadlines, I can tell! ;D ;D ;D

I'm going to say they are a lot cheaper than the triples. Oh course I have never restored a triple. It's crazy the amount of parts you can buy new from honda still. Front fender, gauges, handle bar controls, painted gas tanks.. seat and tons more. You could still buy the exhaust up until a year ago. www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/CB400-FOUR/I actually hate deadlines.. I am just a procrastinator.. The triple wasn't finished at the show.. The missing kick-starter/shaft was a dead give away. Go ahead and make your little Honda jokes guys.. I can take it. ;D
