A Father's Day start would probably be too early (June). I'm in if the dates work out! ;D ;D I've already got a wedding booked and something else I can't remember off hand! I'll check my availabiity and get back to ya this week! I figure we'll need a chase/service truck to follow along. If there's someone who won't have a Triple ready and still wants to go, they might consider driving this vehicle!! I know if my Mongrel isn't on the road (God forbid!! ), I'd be all over that! Keep posting your ideas and suggestions!! We're just throwin' this out here for your consideration! ;D

I'll have to wait a couple weeks to spring this one on the lil misses...lol All day yesterday with you guys and out all afternoon today on my bike! ;D Of course I'm in but timing is everything eh...lol
I would think we could do it if we worked out the spare ignition parts to carry in our back pack... Or would we wimp out and have a chase vehicle?

A Chase vehilce might be a good idea in case there was a major issue , besides the passenger could be a cameraman .They could get some nice shots

So is this a camp and ride tour or motels or what? If it's camping we will definitely need a chase vehicle for all the gear, tools & extra parts. Unless we all get just plastered and passout on the wet grass!

Sorry boy's . Doubt I can make a week long event. Too many commitments and Maddy get's left alone too much in the summer. about 5 more summers and my responsibilities will change alot. In about 7 more summers no more being responsible, I'll be free to Galavant just like when we were in our 20's.

I've been watching "long way round" with Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman on DVD. The prep work for their ride was insane, at least we don't need travel visas.

I think grabbing a Motel every 3rd night might be OK . That's what I used to do many years ago when I used to travell all over . We would need to find a camp ground with showers for sure. No Visa BUT a Passport will be needed.
I'm easy on Vacation time , I'll leave it up to you guys as what is the best time.

I can take as many holidays as I like but I don't get paid for em... How many hours ride we talking anyway, has anyone a ball park? Initally, I figured 4 days with 2 of them a weekend but maybe I'm out to lunch on the miles... I figured 300 to 400 miles a day.
