YEA, finally a proper seat/tail section........ Ha! Good one John! I know you never liked that seat and you're not the only one. Don't be blaming me for Drews wild imagination Steve. BTW Drew they make a nice Seat Sail section that looks just like an H2r Just thought it may look good on there but your the man with the eye for the style. Ya, well Steve, if I was listening to Jim, he'd have me working on a kr750 replica!! Too rich for my pocketbook! Jim, you know me. I hafta go a slightly 'different' way. Seat-wise, I happened to have this one gathering dust in the attic, so, there you go. As far as the fairing goes, this one is for Seaglider's Project... someday... maybe. Only time will truly tell wether it get's used. For the Mongrel, I'm more interested in a 1/2 fairing and in keeping with the Mongrel name, it'll likely NOT be a Kawasaki item. Once again, only time will reveal what actually transpires. Maybe it's time for some Suzuki parts on this rig.

Well Givr, I really like the zrx... that's no lie! It's a 'civilized' version of the kz1000. The small changes I've made to it have really transformed it into a sport-touring rig that suits me to a 'T" and I couldn't be more thrilled with it. That said, if I only had one bike to ride, it would be the kz1000! It just rocks IMO! It's tight, responsive on the throttle and the brakes, handles like nothing else I've ever ridden... there's nothing to dislike about it from my perspective. As soon as I get the charging issues sorted, I hope to be putting lots of km's on it this Fall. Oh. I DON'T see a 'Connie' in my future... not for a long while!

I'm actually quite excited to get it out on the track again. I'm looking for some opinions on what fairing to use with this. I'm leaning to a 1/2 fairing, something like this: This is the Suzuki Team Hammer Endurance Racing 1/2 fairing. It's probably a little large for the h2, but you get the idea here. Here we have a couple of Yamaha fairings, similar size and shape. Here we have a smaller Suzuki fairing. Not the same kind of coverage, but I kinda like it too. So, what do you think? These are all relatively 'modern' in terms of style. There's always a more retro look like a Rickman or the h2r as well. I'm not sure I want to go that route, but maybe... Chime in folks.
