I don't recall there being much of a "fued" between the KTC and the CVMG. That was blown out of proportion here on this forum. I still felt a warm welcome the year I did all the printing that helped with Jim's triple seminar, (2nd year?). We were offered a nice room in a building for the displays. Rent free I assume. Probably our best and well received appearance at the CVMG Rally. I agree Don. We had some great co-operation from the CVMG Paris group the year I did the seminar. They gave us parking in a 20 foot booth spot inside the event even thought we were only there for a couple of hours on the Saturday. Ian said that seminar had more attendance over any other for the weekend. The people on the board changed the year after that and the new guys had no interest. I still have all posters Don made and I spoke to the Kawasaki Canada Service manager at the bike show and he said I can borrow the H2 cutaway if were doing it again. That may be a good thing for the Triple Year. Sorry to hear you wont be there Don but there's many years after this. J.

You guys have good points. You just have to watch the bikerdons 1998 video to see how many people watched us roll out on s3steves grainy old camera video clip. There wouldn't be half the discussion here if a nice 69 pic was included on the theme page. I mean, how many laverda jotas make their presence seen and heard all over Paris every fathers day wkd in Paris for the past 9 years? Doesn't matter, we're going to have a great time.

As it seems most have made plans for this year already here is something to consider for next if camping at the fair grounds isnt ideal.. I live in Tavistock Ontario. roughly 40 mins away from Paris.. 300ft x 90ft property both sides of my street are full parking lanes. private small town, great neighbors. 20x22 shop 20x10 inside motorcycle storage room ( yes i built a room on my house for bikes)and lots of other covered storage no bikes would need to be left outside.. 5x5 fire pit 600sq of patio space 2 possibly 3 spare rooms and access to the back yard for campers and trailers. Mig and Tig welders for any oppsies.. I would love to host this event and carry on where Don is leaving off.. the Paris show could easily be incorporated into the weekend.. Central to possibly organize a visit with shops like Diablo and 5 minutes away from New Hamburg for anyone who has a crank to drop off or pick up! Even maybe a visit with Uncle Gary wouldn't be to far out for one of the rides if it suites his interest. Lots of room here and my neighbors are very forgiving so a great time could be had! its not uncommon that the noise doesn't stop till wee hours of the morning here! Anyways the offer is out there and I would be honored to host this event. Also means Lou would have no excuses for not attending.. put some thought into it and give me your feed back!

Sounds like III is in. Have not heard from H2 Dude yet. He camped there in 2009 I know. It's still early. I may even go if I can get my ducks in a row. In 2009 I hauled my bike there in my 1996 minivan. I'm looking at another (2008). Maybe, who know. Dick J - NY

Mitch, good you posted the invite. We now have 1468 members. Even if a quarter showed up it would be a hoot. 367 triples and guys. At 14 sq feet per triple and 2 sq ft per tripler we'll need around 6000 sq ft of parking and standing space. With 21000 sq ft (est) of backyard space at your place you still have 15000 sq ft left over! That's enough for a kv track of 90 x 167 ft. Sorry have not considered parking or trailers for 367 triples. Everyone will have to ride in and sleep standing up. 😨

Don't mind signing up for camping at the fairgrounds but at the same time I think its prudent to check out Mitch's place for a hang out.
