Well here it is for a $150 . Had a look at it today and it's missing the front wheel . I have a lead on some other items as a front fender(painted) , seat missing also are the coils . So basically I need the following. front wheel Coils seat side cover center stand clutch lever/bracket 1 good fork tube Will need a motor ( working on that with a potential new H1B owner here) So here it is again Ian

I thought I was a glutton for punishment!
I have a '72 H1B side panel among my spares. It is the one with the little springy clip thing on the back which is unique to the '72. It is sandblasted and needs to be painted. May have a decent used clutch lever perch as well. I'll do some digging.

That green H1 I have was as bad or maybe than the new "B" you just got. I should scan the before pictures for you as inspiration. Good thing you have a nice complete one to compare while building the 2nd one.
I swore I would never start with a basket case again but I've done it a couple more times since. Some of us never learn.

Here's some inspiration for you Ian. These are before and after pics of my '74. Mine was in similar condition to your new project but maybe a little more complete. It was dragged out of a friend's barn in Perth.

I think yours has a gas tank and a wheel ...lol
I do have a spare H1B tank and there is one stashed under the bench along with a and I mean maybe a 75 H2 tank. kinda looks like purple or brown ..really hard to tell but it is a 75 .
Front wheel is the same til the end so I should be OK there.

OK, so I had a vicarious tour of the junk yard today. I talked to Ian for over an hour while he waded through the triples graveyard. Man was that funny: Ian "oh..wait a minute.. what the f** is that? Looks like another triple". "Holy crap, look at those hornets screaming out of that H1 muffler..they looked pissed!". "I'm going into the school bus now... good lord, here's another H1 motor". "Say, didn't the H2 tail piece have 2 reflectors? I just picked up an H2 tail piece lying in the weeds". On and on it went. I swear, at one point I could hear him running..with a swarm of pissed-off bees chasing his ass. Good job, Ian. Some more triples will live because of this!!

getting it registered is easy . Since he is a dealer ..no problem . If not then an affidavid and your in.
I was in North bay today and spent some time with Steve , actually bought 3 350s . One for my son and the other for a friend. On a good note Steve also has a front wheel for me a Dual disc one at that .

UPDATE
Andre has the correct side cover a rear wheel and maybe a clutch lever assembly .
Bought a set of carbs off a 73 H1 with cables etc . only 7000 miles on them all for $18 along with a front wheel for $10 . Checked speedo and Tach , both still work and have the glass out and ready to paint the needles . RB will make a new tag for the steering neck once back in the UK. Have lead on coils and wiring harness. Slowly coming along Ian
Fenders have arrived

Thanks Andre YUP after I saw what Don went thru I said never ever would I do that . BUT if I don't save it then who will..lol But it's a H1B . Ian Nice project Ian, mine was a close second in the "I shouldn't get involved department" It was a chore, but all worth it. I was missing, fender stay and Rubber, Rear fender support, shocks, all signals, coils, batterybox, front fender, brake MC and Caliper, Generator, rectifier, regulator, carbs and my favorite find, the little Jewell in the Headlight, the hibeam indicator, left bar control (light switch) and maybe an item or 2 more. I felt at the time I was being screwed for $500.oo bdbdbdbdbdbdbd bucks. I got screwed, but not full penetration. It was bittersweet taking back and showing Chris his old bike. I have since stocked up on all electronic gizmos. I still need an extra regulator then I will have 2 H1B electronic systems complete as spares. I'd go for it again, it wasn't that bad unless you were my wife or children which I paid no attention to for the 2 weeks before the "Paris Gig". Can't forget the shattered nerves from trying to get others motivated, like the Mutant Redneck Freak that did the paint. He did do an excellent job, after I snapped, just a little. Triple B's, I just figured out what the "B" stands for in H1B. "BELLY BUTTON BIKE" everybodies got one ;D ;D More the merrier, way 2 go Ian and Ian. BTW Tommy said a dude parked a 72 H1B across the road a weekend or 4 ago, Orange with stock pipes. Probably the dude's bike I seen at Rick Yates's place a couple years ago, so now there's 5- B's around. I gotta get to Zambia's house soon as he get's his B home. We're practically neighbours, an hour apart Cripes I talk alot, sorry.
